Approved Outside CAP Modules
The USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program (USAV-CAP) will accept the
following as CAP Modules toward initial or re-certification (some time
restrictions may apply):
1) The American Sport Education
Program (ASEP) courses:
ASEP's Coaching Principles, Sport First Aid or Coaching Youth Volleyball, and the to-be-released CPR/AED for Coaches and Coaching Volleyball Technical and Tactical Skills (online only) courses are currently accepted as USAV-CAP Level I, II or III Approved Elective Modules (IF you affiliate with USA Volleyball during ASEP's order process on-line). ASEP's Coaching Principles course (available online or as a classroom clinic) satisfies USA Volleyball's Coaching Accreditation Program CAP Level I requirement of a Foundations of Coaching course. Documentation of completion is necessary to receive credit as a CAP Module. 3) The American Volleyball Coaches Association
Annual Coaches Convention sessions. Documentation of registration and
attendance is necessary to receive credit as a CAP Module.
4) Outside Approved Coaching Clinics such as the following. Sessions at
these Clinics that count as Approved CAP Modules will exhibit one of
these Logos:

Please Note:
- NO IMPACT Clinics will be offered on-site at either the USA Volleyball Girls’ or the Boys’ Junior National Championships this summer.
- ALL Junior Championship coaches MUST have taken an IMPACT certification Clinic PRIOR to arriving at the Junior National Tournaments in 2008.
- All 2008 USAV Junior Club coaches will have ample opportunities to do so at on-site Clinics hosted by their Region Office, at Junior Qualifier on-site Clinics and on-line via the USAV IMPACT Clinic Webinars.
- Dates for the National Office online IMPACT Webinars will be posted here as “Confirmed” & Registration links will be opened when we have secured instructors for that date.
