On to the Semifinals

The first match went as well as can be expected.  I thought we put together a nice effort and ending up winning 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

At the end of the third set, I landed off a jump serve and ended up pulling a muscle in my right quadricep. The pain was pretty bad and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to play the next two matches.

On Wednesday we had the chance to bury them and move on to the semifinals.  We ended up losing the match 3-1 and it was obvious that the team needed me to play.

Unfortunately the next match was the very next day, so my leg still didn't have the adequate amount of rest it needed to have me at 100%.  I ended up taping it up, taking some drugs, and gritting it out.  The match ended up being another 3-0 victory for us.  The club is excited to be in the semifinals and so are we.
