A Look Back
The Pacific Northwest Qualifier wrapped up this weekend in the Spokane, Wash.-area, giving bids to 15 teams in seven age divisions to the 2011 USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships.

What’s Next for National Qualifiers?
Two qualifiers will be in action this weekend, April 1-3. Six divisions will compete in the first weekend of the Southern California Qualifier in Anaheim, Calif.
The Big South Qualifier is also taking place this weekend as the only USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Qualifier hosting all age divisions in a single weekend. 18 divisions will compete under the Georgia World Congress Center roof in Atlanta, Ga.
Coverage for Crossroads
The 2011 Colorado Crossroads welcomed 928 teams over its two-weekend USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Qualifying tournaments. The 11 percent increase from last year’s installment attracted the attention of television news stations as the 25,000-plus expected athletes, parents and spectators moved into Denver for the two weekends. The athletic benefits of the tournament where coupled by the economic benefits that local stores, hotels, restaurants and the city of Denver accumulated.
