An upset in the first semifinal of the day as Kathryn Babcock and Wisconsin favorite Sheila Shaw upset top-seeded Annette Davis and Jenny Johnson Jordan, 29-27, 21-15.
Jessica Gysin and Christal Engle defeat Kristen Batt and Brooke Sweat in the second women's semifinal, 21-19, 12-21, 16-14.
Gysin/Engle will play Babcock/Shaw in the women's final.
Kevin Wong and Matt Olson defeat Aaron Wachtfogel and Bill Strickland, 21-16, 21-17
John Hyden and Sean Scott defeat Stephen Vanderwerp and Avery Drost, 21-13, 21-13. Hyden and Scott will play Wong and Olson in the men's final.
Kathryn Babock and Sheila Shaw def Jessica Gysin and Christal Engle, 21-15, 21-19 in the women's final.
John Hyden and Sean Scott defeat Matt Olson and Kevin Wong in the men's final, 2-1. The tie-breaker score was 17-15. Great match and great event!
