Back on the Winning Side vs. Slovakia

by Girls Youth National Team / August 17, 2011

Hey all! Kadie here.
So we woke up a little early than normal this morning due to our practice at 8 a.m. We grabbed our to-go breakfast from the hotel and then headed out to the training facility for pre-game practice. We got a few good reps in passing, serving, and hitting wise to get us up and ready for our game at 12:30 p.m.. We went back to the hotel to have an actual breakfast afterwards and then we had our daily scouting video of our opponent. We played Slovakia today and we got back on the winning side and won in three straight sets. Today was kind of chill at the hotel as we did not really go out and do anything in the city. We had a very motivating meeting tonight that got us pumped up for the rest of the World Championships! Cant wait for tomorrow’s game against Thailand!
