"The Godfather" Still Has It

by U.S. Boys' Youth National Team / August 19, 2011

Alright to start off I am Austin Kingi from Thousand Oaks, California.

I had a rough night getting to sleep last night because of the four hour time change.  This morning I struggled getting up at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast which consisted of Frosted Flakes and two yogurts.  Matt West and I immediately went back to bed after eating breakfast to wake up at 1:30 p.m. for lunch. Our practice was scheduled from 6-7 p.m.  Egypt was running late on their practice time which ended up cutting into ours.  During our downtime before practice we had to warm-up outside.  We were playing two man pepper until [Andrew] Sato shanked one to the second story balcony.  In the time Sato was retrieving the ball, "The Godfather" also known as Tom Tait hopped in to replace Sato and keep the drill going.  I have  to say he has still got it in him.

Today was a good day.  Looking forward to tomorrow's game against Egypt.
