After a nice night out for some traditional food consisting of cheese and meat followed by pasta and steak, the team was ready for the next friendly match in Gela.
This city of Gela is great and the host is a major part of it. The team has had the opportunity to meet the mayor of Gela as well as the entire staff and support of the club. The club is a good team. We are working up to the World Championships and want to make sure we are firing on all cylinders. These two matches gave us this opportunity.

The U.S. won again in three. The scores were 25-18, 25-22, and 25-19. The result is important; however, the fact that we have 14 USA players who are healthy and ready to go is an even better feeling. We are passing the ball very well. All outsides that have come to Italy with the team passed with high efficiency and Rich is moving and running service receive.
We leave today for the next goal, Reggio Calabria, where we will play Mexico, Argentina, and Venezuela. These are teams not to be taken lightly and we will be prepared for each of the matches.
