After a great drive though Sicily, the guys boarded a ferry, crossed the Straight of Messina and arrived at the hotel, Montesano. Great views, unbelievable food and practice in the competition hall.
The team received their World Championship T-shirt and other great gifts from Mizuno (I will get a shot of it and forward; it is sweet).
At every turn, we are impressed with the presentation and why not? It is the World Championships! We are ready to go! First up, Mexico at 9:05 pm local time. We are looking to get out of the gates and control the match. The team looks rested and ready.
We are wearing the blue jersey tonight. Time to get out the flags and show your support once again. Thanks for all of the well wishes. Don't hesitate to cheer us on, they will hear you!
Go USA!
