Notes from Brazil

Our team, the U.S. Women's Sitting Volleyball Team, has a new favorite game. The game is to see how many girls we can shove into an elevator. Let me tell you that, that thing is not very roomy, more like a closet or a pantry!
It was nice to see a little of the United States in Brazil, and that would be good ole McDonalds. After eating, we found a little play place and decided to act like a big group of three year olds, playing on swings, slides and “teeter totters” which is always fun!
Wednesday, Sept. 28
Before opening ceremonies, Kaz was showing us our new “stretch” or also know as him flailing his arms around dancing to Baby by Justin Bieber! After the ceremony, we watched Brazil play Columbia. Its nice to see that the Colombian program is expanding. We beat Canada in three, Kari got her first ace today! Bethany, Angela and I had our own adventure with the hot tub upstairs…drains are pretty hard to find!
That is all I have time for right now, off to get ready for Colombia and Brazil matches!
