Ryan Millar: Another 3-0 win for the good guys

I just got home from a 6 hour bus ride from Ankara, where we played against Polis Akademisi and won 3-0.  I thought we played a pretty good all-around match.  We dug a lot of balls and blocked well.  I like the chemistry we have on the court right now.  Polis is not a bad team at all.  They have some big guys that can hit and serve well.  We just did a better job of controlling the game and didn't make nearly as many errors as they did.  Something that I find very odd here in Turkey is that before a match like the one we played today, it is all "We have to win, we have to take 3 points, blah blah."  But then after the match we really don't celebrate the victory.  It is kind of just like, "yeah we won 3-0, yawn."  It is all very odd over here.  Not necessarily bad, just a little odd.  I don't think I will ever understand the Turkish mentality.  Maybe it is because I am not Turkish??
