A Win's a Win, I Guess
by Ryan Millar / March 15, 2009
Last night we played against a Polis team that was looking for points in order to stay in the 1st division for next season. After beating them down pretty bad in the first two sets (25-11 in the second set), and being up 20-15 in the third, we got stuck in rotation 1 and could not side out. Polis went on to score 5 or 6 points in a row and eventually win the set 28-26. Oh well on to set 4. Once again we were ahead 18-14 when once again we found ourselves in rotation 1. We ended up giving away another bunch of points to eventually lose the set 25-23. Luckily we were able to play a nice 5th set and come away with a victory. Rotation 1 has been a big problem for us all season.
