Special Information for Siesta Key Tryout, May 15-17
Exciting news regarding the USA Volleyball Florida Beach High Performance Tryout scheduled for May 15-17 in Siesta Key: Many of you have asked whether you can participate in the Dig the Beach AA and Open event on Saturday and still try out.
We have added a new tryout session on Sunday and opened up all sessions to both genders to accommodate your participation in the Dig the Beach tournaments. Please note that you will need to attend one Testing Session and one Skills Session. You may attend two Skills Sessions if there is space available. (Note that any Skills Sessions with fewer than four participants may be cancelled. Attending a second Skills Sessions will not affect your selection, but will give you more on-court training time.)
Registration for this event closes on May 13 at midnight. There is a $50 late fee, so don't delay. Once registered you will go to the Florida BHPT Sessions Scheduling page to choose your tryout times. Once you have completed this sessions schedule survey, your sessions are confirmed unless you hear from us otherwise. Please make sure to bring water, sun block and sand socks (or an old pair of socks).
You should plan on attending one Testing Session and one Skills Session.
Testing Session, choose one: Friday 4-7 p.m. Testing Session A OR Saturday 9 am-noon Testing Session B
Skills Session, choose one: (you can attend two if space is available.) Saturday noon-3 pm Skills Session C OR Saturday 4-7 p.m. Skills Session D OR Sunday noon-3 p.m. Skills Session E.
