Can anyone tell me where to find a list of all high schools in the nation that have boys volleyball? We are currently trying to have it implemented in our state and would like some facts regarding other states. |

Hey Janet, found this for you... not sure how valid this is but hope it helps Article from http://www.garfieldvolleyball.com/ Volleyball popularity continues to climb Volleyball is the third most popular girls' high school sport in the nation ... and climbing The most recent survery (2004-05) by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) found that 386,022 girls play high school volleyball at 14,526. Over the previous ten seasons, volleyball participation grew by 13.5 percent. By comparison, girls' basketball saw a 6.9 percent increase over the same period. According to the survery, 41, 633 boys played volleyball in 2004-05 at 1,688 high schools. |

I can provide information on boys volleyball in Connecticut... we have 40 'ish teams right now (off the top of my head) |
