Your rule of "Stay to Play" stinks. Hold us hostage for more money.Your negotiated deals have not saved my family any money this year.Thankyou USA volleyball I'll be rooting for the rest of the world at the next olympics. |

USA Volleyball is sorry you have had a negative experience with the Stay and Play policy. If you can provide us specifics where the policy has cost you more money, we can work with THS to find out if and where the system has broken down. The effects in Miami after the policy was announced to the hotel community were very positive for the people attending the tournament there. The rates for the 18 hotels previously contracted were negotiated down by an average of $17.50 per room, per night. Additionally, seventeen other hotels with rates below $100 came forward with available rooms, when only two had previously. The hotels on the official hotel list are selling directly to the public at rates on average of $54 higher tournament rate. Please visit our juniors indoor page at http://usavolleyball.org/content/index/5535 for complete information and FAQs for the USAV event housing service. We are always working to make improvements to our events and services. However, like everything else, unexpected glitches can and will appear. We are only able to address what we are aware of, but will always make an effort if properly notified. You may not get your issue resolved in the manner which you desire, but please allow us the opportunity to explain why or why not. Thank you. |

I have to agree with C Nelson. The thing I am upset about is that when I called to make the reservation I was not informed that there are more than one hotel to chose from, several that are much cheaper than the one that was booked for me. I am new to this stay and play policy and I feel misinformed. I am stuck paying almost $500 for this weekend stay when I could have used another hotel and paid just a little over $200. |

I would like to add on since USAV asked to report the issue so it can be fix. New Customer Loyalty Program: There may have been many pleased families in Miami in 2009 but with this new program you all kick Miami Beach sand in our faces. The clubs in Florida have to wait until the High School Volleyball season is completed before those kids can tryout for Club. This New Customer Loyalty Program started in October and finished before we had our teams established. Now we are forced to stay in the only available hotels which are 8 to 10 miles away from the tournament. How can this be legal in today’s time? It wasn't too long ago when people were telling people where to drink, live, go to school and so on. The Stay to Play program and Customer Loyalty Program only shows that we have not learn from the past. |
