Please help Tiffany advance to the top 5 finalists in the running for Sports Illustrated Sports Kid of the Year. Place your vote today at http://www.sikids.com (you an vote once per day). As reported in the Daily Breeze newspaper on 9/29/09: "Redondo libero Tiffany Morales is one of 10 finalists for the Sports Illustrated for Kids' Sportskid of the Year. Morales, a back-to-back AAU girls volleyball national champion who competed in three different Junior Olympics this summer, needs votes to beat out the other finalists for the award. Voting runs through Oct. 6 at www.SIkids.com." Additional info: Tiffany was the MVP Freshman athlete of Redondo Union High School and earned All Area 1st Team and Bay League Libero of the Year. She was also selected 2nd Team Bay League in Water Polo and she was also a member of the Varsity swim team. This summer, Tiffany and her indoor club team, Mizuno Long Beach 15 Mizuno, played in the 15 Open at the 09 JOs and finished in the top 10 (they were the '08 champions). Her club water polo team also finished in the top 10 at JOs. Tiffany and her beach partner placed 2nd behind a strong Canadian team at the '09 AAU Beach VB JOs. Prepvolleyball.com named Tiffany on their "2009 Defensive Dandies" list and she was one of only 14 freshman listed. |
