USAV Member Looking for Votes

Dear USA Volleyball Members,

I could really use your help on Oct. 6.  I have been fortunate to be selected as a finalist in the running for the 2009 Sports Illustrated Kid of the Year. Of the 10 finalist I am the only volleyball player. In order for me to continue in the running, I need to be in the top 5 of vote getters by midnight Eastern time on Oct. 6. Some of my competitors for this recognition have already been on TV and have had feature articles written about them. It's not too easy to compete with that, but I think you could really help me get some votes quick. It would be so awesome if you could vote for me before Tuesday's deadline. I am grateful for the nomination as I've worked extremely hard this year (you can read about why I was selected at http://longbeachvbc.d4sportsclub.com/page.aspx?id=335). If I somehow win this I will get to make special appearances with the adult Sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year, which is awesome. I would use every opportunity to talk about the privilege of playing beach and indoor volleyball through the strong programs established by the USAV. I am only 15 but already entering my eighth year of club volleyball. I have had the benefit of playing in four straight USAV JuniorNationals and loved every minute of every one!
