COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Jan. 25, 2010) – The USA Volleyball Beach Department has announced that athletes for the first two NORCECA events of 2010 will be chosen based on 2009 IDQ results.

If there are no interested athletes with IDQ points, then AVP points will be used to select teams.

These first two events as scheduled by NORCECA are:

March 17-22 on Grand Cayman Island0
March 31-April 5 at Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic

Please note that the United States can enter one funded team per event, per gender. USA Volleyball may enter a second team per event per gender on a space available basis. The second team will not receive USAV or NORCECA funding.

If you are interested in participating in any of these three events, please register here: Women's RegistrationMen’s Registration. Teams will be selected three weeks prior to the start of each event.
