COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 8, 2010) - With the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships qualifier season now complete, a few options still exist for a season-ending tournament experience including the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships held June 26 to July 3 in Reno, Nev.
The Open Division for all five age groups (14s, 15s, 16s, 17s, 18s) into the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships has confirmed all its team participants through the National Qualifiers and at-large process. To view which teams made the tournament, visit usavolleyball.org/events/2483/page/7543.
Although all Open Division spots have been filled through the National qualifiers or at-large berths, teams still looking to enter USAV’s Junior Nationals may still be able to qualify in National or American Divisions through the one of the 40 USA Volleyball Regional Championships. These tournaments conclude the weekend of May 15-16. Further, teams may still earn a berth into the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships through re-allocation berths based on bids not awarded at National Qualifiers or utilized by a Region.
If your team is one of the 808 teams which will be participating in the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships, USA Volleyball offers its congratulations.
