COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 30, 2010) – The USA Volleyball Open National Championships, one of the largest single sport championship events in the United States, is taking place May 29 through June 5 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

The Open National Championships is in its 81st year since USA Volleyball’s founding in 1928. Except for 1943 and 1944 during the height of World War II, the Open has been a mainstay celebrating adult volleyball in the United States.
