Recruiting Paradise at USAV Girls’ Junior National Championships
RENO, Nev. (June 30, 2010) – The USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships, held June 24-July 3 in Reno, Nev., is a college volleyball recruiters’ dream.
The event is the most concentrated amount of high-level volleyball in the country involving pre-college club teams all under one roof. In the process, college coaches on the recruiting path can see something they cannot necessarily see through the videos and biographies they receive from players hoping to attend their respective universities.

The 12 National Division saw Borinquen Coqui 12-1F (Puerto Rico) and I Mua Girls 12s (Aloha) compete for the title in a battle of undefeated teams. What ensued was a three-set showdown creating the closest championship match the 2010 Championships have seen between teams based out of two different islands in different oceans.
