17s Champions Crowned at USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships

RENO, Nev. (July 1, 2010) – The 17 Open, National and American Divisions at the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships concluded play Thursday with the respective gold-medal matches and named their champions Thursday in Reno, Nev.

Extra Element of Entertainment in Reno

RENO, Nev. (July 1, 2010) – Volleyball fans watching championship court at the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships in Reno, Nev., experienced a little more entertainment besides the volleyball Thursday.

Chris Shardt, a current member of the event’s equipment staff, is the self-proclaimed “#1 Volleyball Fan” of center court. Believe it or not, this is not his first time being the top fan at an event.
