WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (July 29, 2010) - USA Volleyball posed the question of day – “What are you going to do over the next two weeks after you leave USA Volleyball High Performance Championships?" – to 10 participants of the event taking place July 26-30 at Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

Below are the responses.

Derek Koetter (Jacksonville, Fla.), who is a member of the Florida Region Boys’ Select Team in the Boys’ National Select Division: “I will be going to the men’s Stanford volleyball camp. Four or five of my friends are going and will be rooming with me. It’s awesome that we get to go to the national champion team’s camp.”

Heather Roberts (Grand Blanc, Mich.), playing for the Lakeshore Region Team in the Girls’ National Select Division: “More volleyball! I will be preparing for school volleyball and working out. I am excited for this new season. There are a lot of good teams here that I have faced that are preparing me for my upcoming season.“

Matt West (Seattle, Wash.), member of the U.S. Boys’ Youth A2 White Team participating in the Boys’ International Youth Division: “I will mostly be pumping iron and hanging out in the Seattle sun. I also want to text and keep up with all of the girls that I met here this week.”

Shawna-Lei Santos (Honolulu, Hawaii), a contributing member of the U.S. Girls’ Youth A2 Blue Team in the Girls’ International Youth Division: “I am going to be going home and training for my school team. I will also be going to Kauai and playing in a tournament there. I play volleyball year-round and am very dedicated to my career. I will play as long as I possibly can.”

Corey Lowe (Foothill Branch, Calif.), member of the U.S. Boys’ Select Continental Red Team in the Boys’ National Select Division: “I will definitely be playing beach volleyball and hanging out with friends. I also am planning to take a trip to Lake Meade.”

Skylan Engleman (Honolulu, Hawaii) is playing for the Aloha Region Boys’ Youth Team participating in the Boys’ National Select Division: “I will be going to the beach, but first I am getting some rest after this tournament. Then I will be getting ready for school, play some beach volleyball, surfing and playing the ukulele some.”

Mikey Sokol (Akron, Ohio), member of the Ohio Valley Region Boys’ Youth Team in the Boys’ National Youth Division: “I am going on vacation to Virginia Beach with my family and then coming back home to work as a janitor at St. Matthew Parish.”

Sabrina Hargis (Bondurant, Iowa), contributor to the Iowa Region Women’s Junior Team in the Women’s International Junior Division: “I have three team camps with my high school at Iowa State, Central College and Simpson college. I also am going to be hanging out with my friends.”

Rachel Manriquez (Edmond, Okla.), playing for the Oklahoma Region Girls’ Youth Team in the Girls’ National Youth Division: “I will be practicing with my high school team. This tournament has helped me build my endurance in preparation for working out with my high school team. I also will go swimming at the lake and hang out with friends.”

Jacob Derosier (Burlington, Wis.), member of the Boys’ Select A1 White Team participating in the Boys’ International Youth Division: “Volleyball is my life. I will be working on increasing my vertical jump. I want to swim in my pool, play beach volleyball, hang out with friends and walk around downtown.”
