CAP Courses Heading to Concord, N.C..-Area

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 6, 2011) – The USA Volleyball Education Department will host courses within its Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP) on May 14-15 in the Concord, N.C.-area.

The courses will be taught at Hickory Ridge High School (7321 Ragin Ridge Road) in Harrisburg, N.C. The clinic cadre include:
Bill Neville, former U.S. Men’s Olympic Team coach and current USA Volleyball national commissioner of coaching education
Joe Sagula, University of North Carolina head women’s volleyball coach
Tom Tait, former Penn State men’s and women’s head volleyball coach and FIVB international clinician
Steve Colpus, former assistant coach at Ohio State University and former junior and senior national team coach for Great Britain

Coaches wishing to recertify have the option of registering for a full course, the day one sessions ONLY, OR individual modules on day two. Contact the USAV Education Department to purchase the total number of individual re-certification modules you wish to attend at this course site. CAP I requires four total module credits to re-certify and four are offered at this course; CAP II requires five modules and six are offered at this site.

The schedule starts with check-in at 7:30 a.m. ET on May 14 and the first day will continue no later than 8 p.m. ET. Sessions begin at 8 a.m. on May 15 and end approximately at 4 p.m. ET.
