2011 USAV GJNC Brings New Enhancements

ATLANTA (June 25, 2011) – The USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships (GJNC) kicked off with the Girls’ 14 American, National and Open divisions on June 25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The tournament continues through July 4.

After a few days of setup and months of planning, the USA Volleyball crew walked into the World Congress Center Saturday morning feeling prepared and ready to kick off the first day of the GJNC showcasing not only the matches, but its sponsors and added tournament enhancements.

This year’s event has added some new features for the enjoyment of the athletes and spectators. Mizuno and Molten- both USA Volleyball sponsors – have new products on the market that are selling very successfully at the GJNC.

Badger Duo Kicks off the USAV GJNC

ATLANTA (June 25, 2011) - Mati Ardis and Maddie Erlandson, both of Milwaukee, Wis., sang the United States national anthem and kicked off the first day of the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta which is being held from June 25-July 4.

Both Ardis and Erlandson, members of the Girls’ 14 West Allis Lightning volleyball club team that is playing in the National division, felt honored to represent their team and to also start off the USA Volleyball event.
