NOTE: Gina Mancuso (Bellevue, Neb.) and Lilla Frederick (Huntington Beach, Calif.) are members of the U.S. Women's Junior National Team competing in the 2008 NORCECA Women's Continental Championship at Saltillo, Mexico.

This is Lilla and Gina. We play Canada which is very exciting. We started off the day with an awesome practice. We then took a nap to make sure we had rest before our big match. It was now game time. USA really came out with a big punch by beating Canada in four. We were consistent the whole time and stayed strong throughout the match.

Our wonderful translator generously invited all of our USA family to his parent’s house for an amazing feast. Parents, players and coaches enjoyed each others presence. The food was delicioso!! We probably had at least 20 shrimp between the two of us. It was awesome. All of our tummy’s were satisfied. Hope tomorrow is another amazing day.

It was a great day Lilla, just for all the great level you have... U are strong and I love the way you play and you are... Im looking to have at least a great picture of you.. I hope this sunday I could go and take it before you go... Im gonna miss you!
