| U.S. SITTING WOMEN SECURE PARALYMPIC SILVER MEDAL |

The U.S. Sitting Women’s Volleyball Team won the silver medal at the 2008 Paralympic Games after falling to defending champion China in the final match, 25-14, 25-19, 25-15, before 5,500 spectators at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium in Beijing. The U.S. Sitting Women finish the Paralympics with a record of 3-2, with their only other loss coming to China in pool play.

Mizuno USA, Inc. announced with great excitement today that the company has renewed its sponsorship agreement with USA Volleyball to remain as the "Official Athletic Apparel and Footwear Supplier for the USA Men's and Women's National Teams and those teams representing the United States in the Olympic Games". Additionally, the agreement continues this relationship for the USA Men's and Women's Junior National Teams, USA Boys' and Girls' Youth National Teams, and Men's and Women's World University Teams. The new USAV Coaching Education video channel is up and running on Dartfish.TV with five Coaching Performance Series video clip collections currently available for subscription. Each of the five featured skill collections includes video clips of high school and USA National Team players demonstrating skills from multiple angles, with embedded Key Position text, on-screen drawings & annotations. With each collection subscription coaches will be able to view the video clips, print out the Key Position photos and scripts, and print out supporting articles such as Teaching Tips and Drills for each skill.
