The U.S. Sitting Women’s Volleyball Team won the silver medal at the 2008 Paralympic Games after falling to defending champion China in the final match, 25-14, 25-19, 25-15, before 5,500 spectators at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium in Beijing. The U.S. Sitting Women finish the Paralympics with a record of 3-2, with their only other loss coming to China in pool play. MORE

A community celebration in Anaheim capped three weeks of celebrations and appearances for the U.S. Men’s Volleyball Team since it won its Olympic gold medal in Beijing on Aug. 24. The City of Anaheim, where the team has its headquarters at the American Sports Center, honored the players and coaches on Sept. 13 at Anaheim’s GardenWalk. MORE

USA Volleyball is pleased to announce its championship events schedule for the 2009 season, which includes the largest international elite volleyball tournament to be held on United States soil. The USA Junior Olympic Girls' Volleyball Championships will run concurrently with the Eighth Annual Women's Pan American Cup starting June 26 in the city of Miami, Fla. MORE
