“NCAA Eligibility information provided in the following links is specific to individuals that are potential NCAA Division I and Division II student-athletes. In order for a coach to contact a prospective student-athlete the athlete must be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse. Athletes CANNOT register for the Clearinghouse until June following their Junior year in high school. Interested students and parents can contact coaches and athletic departments at institutions they are considering attending at any time. It is important that student-athletes meet with their high school counselor as they enter the 9th grade and even in middle school to assure that their high school academic track is in alignment with the NCAA requirements for graduation. Many high school graduation requirements are not as demanding as the NCAA standards for participation and it is in the student’s best interest to be proactive in their academic planning before it becomes a serious issue. If you ever have any questions concerning recruiting tactics or policies you should contact the NCAA or the Compliance Officer at any collegiate athletic office.”
