Kristin Richards and Stacy Sykora (April 8): "Tough loss against Krasnodar in 5 sets which ties us up 1-1 in the quarter final (best of 3)... we play off at home to see who advances to the semi the day after tomorrow.... wish us luck!"

Kristin Richards and Stacy Sykora (March 29): "Just finished league play with a 3-0 win over Dinamo kalingrad at home... got to see our buddy Nicole Fawcett which was great.. we have a few days off and then we start up playoffs on the 4th of April... we’re heading in as no. 3 seed, will play no. 6 and if we win first round (2/3 series) we advance to the final four... can’t believe it’s playoff time already!"

Jordan Larson (March 14, 2010): "Things have been going well here and I am enjoying myself and volleyball. We had two games this last week, against Omsk and Khabarovsk. We were fortunate enough to win both matches 3-1."

Lindsey Berg (March 8, 2010): “Big win against the #1 team Pesaro. Had my parents here to cheer me on...and ended up playing a great match and earning MVP honors. We are still in 2nd place but only 2 points behind first. Next up is Heather’s team Jesi...looking forward to a good week of practice...”

Cassie Busse (March 8, 2010): “We are now 8-1, tied with Courtney Thompson’s team, Catano. After our season opener with them in early February, we have a rematch this Friday. It will be shown live on the internet via mediasports.tv. After our win last night, we have now completed round 1 of regular season play. We play each team home and away, and then one more game with the 4 teams that are in our “division”. After having about a week off, the team is excited to start playing games again! Llaneras Ahi! :)

Courtney Thompson (March 5, 2010): “Things are going well down here in Puerto Rico. Fortunately, I get to play with another American Airial Salvo this year. We’ve been having a blast playing together, and have really enjoyed playing for the “Lancheras of Catano.” Our fans are CRAZY... I’ve never seen so many instruments used as noise makers at a volleyball game before. We had a good practice tonight after a fun, but challenging, pool workout in the heat this afternoon. Looking forward to playing a good match against Katie Wilkins team tomorrow night!”

Kristin Richards and Stacy Sykora (Feb. 27, 2010): "Tough match against Dinamo last night... next up we've got Jordan’s team at home.. we're excited to see and hang out with one of our own!"

Kristin Richards and Stacy Sykora (Feb. 23, 2010): "We had a great weekend with a win against no. 4 Dinamo Krasnodar and we're headed to Moscow tomorrow to play no. 1 Dinamo Moscow..... should be a great match...."

Kristin Richards and Stacy Sykora (Feb. 16, 2010): "Things in Omsk are going great! The hypothermic temperatures have given us a little break which is nice--it's only -15 instead of -25.... :) We played Uralotchka and Belgorod this past week and beat both teams in 3, still sitting in 2nd overall. Home game coming up this Sunday!"

Lindsey Berg (Feb. 15, 2010): "I am very relieved after last nights match. I knew it was going to be a tough one...trying to beat any team for the 4th time is tough especially when they have one of the best players in the world...Logan Tom. But after some of the longest rallies ever we came out on top with a 3-1 victory. Big win for us..Urbino is up next..."

Cassie Busse (Feb. 9, 2010): "Our team is still in Pre-Season training. We have had a Federation tournament that included all ten teams in the league and our team also hosted a small tournament. We have a lot of talent on our team, so right now it's just very important for us to come together and start clicking as a unit. Our setter is learning each of our sets and we should be running a pretty fast offense this year. On Friday we have our first game in our home gym. We play Courtney Thompson's team, Cantano. As last year's Champion, we are expected to have a big opening Ceremony. I'm excited to see how it is going to turn out. Season starts this week! Wish us luck!"

Lindsey Berg (Feb. 9, 2010): "After a slow start in the 1st set...my team pulled it together and got another W against Castellana Grotte. Earning ourselves 2 days off. Still sitting alone in 2nd place...we will play Novara (Logan's team) next Sunday for the 3rd time in 15 days. I expect it to be a tough one...Ciao for now."

Lindsey Berg (Feb. 2, 2010): "Sunday my team (Villa Cortese) added another 3 points to our overall score to maintain our 2nd place position. We now stand alone in 2nd... 5 points behind Pesaro & 2 points ahead of Jesi (Heather Bown's team). Tomorrow we are looking forward to a win over Novara (Logan Tom's team) to advance to the Final 4 of Coppa Italia..."

Cassie Busse (Jan. 27, 2010): “I am back in Puerto Rico playing for Llaneras de Toa Baja. I just picked up Jen Joines Tamas at the airport a couple of days ago, and I’m so excited she is here too. We also have another foreign player, Stacey Gordon. Our team is coming together nicely and everyone is all in for a back-to-back Championship. We just have a lot of practices and lifting this week until the weekend where all 10 teams in the league will participate in a Pre-Season Tournament. Our first regular season game begins on Feb. 12.”

Nancy Metcalf (Jan. 27, 2010): “We leave Wed am on the worst road trip we’ll have this season. We fly through Sao Paulo to get to a city in western Brazil, play Thursday, fly back through SP to another city, play Sat & take a 8-9 hr bus ride back, arriving sometime early Sun am. Our road trips aren’t usually like this, so thankfully it’s just once to go here! I don’t know anything about the teams we’re playing, I’ll find out once we watch video. They just told us the airport in SP is closed because of rain, so this will be interesting!”

Kristin Richards (Jan. 25, 2010): “Things are going great here in Omsk.. Stacy signed with my team in December (!!) and has been a huge help to us.... we’re now tied for 1st! It’s been a fun couple of weeks getting to see and play against USA teammates Nicole Fawcett and Jordan Larson...we’ve got an important match Zarechi this week and then back on the road....”
