Men's Sitting National Team Athletic Trainer
Whitney Padgett is the head athletic trainer for the U.S. Men’s Sitting National Team.
Whitney has more than a decade of experience as a certified athletic trainer in professional, college, clinical, high school and community settings.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has worked as a head athletic trainer at Muskogee High School, St. Gregory’s University and Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, and assisted with medical coverage for the sitting volleyball national teams and sitting national team development program. Her experience in caring for diverse athlete populations has honed her skills in providing exceptional care and maximizing performance.
Beyond her career, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. As a proud wife and parent, she finds inspiration in her family. Now, she is excited to bring her passion for sports medicine to the USA Volleyball Men’s Sitting National Team and looks forward to contributing to the team’s success and overall well-being.
