COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 19, 2019) – Fans can vote now for three-time Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor, who is a finalist to be inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame.
May-Treanor is a four-time beach volleyball Olympian. She and partner Kerri Walsh Jennings are the only beach players to win three Olympic gold medals.
She is also a three-time FIVB world champion with Walsh-Jennings.
May-Treanor finished her international career after the 2012 Olympic Games with a then-record 112 tournament victories.
Established in 1979, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame celebrates the achievements of Team USA’s premier athletes and teams. The first hall of fame class was inducted in 1983, and since then, nearly 150 individuals and teams have been honored for their contributions to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic movements.
