The U.S. Women’s Sitting National Team fell to a familiar foe in the first match of the Paris Paralympics, 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-18, 26-24) to three-time Paralympic champion China. The teams met in the gold medal match in Rio and Tokyo with the U.S. earning the gold each time.
