The five-time Olympic medalists have been on the podium in each of the last four Olympic Games, winning their first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Jordan Thompson high fives a teammate

They Said It

Jordan Thompson, on having "greatness inside of me"

“I started reminding myself…that I have greatness inside of me… before Tokyo. I remember being so nervous that I was shaking, and I would usually find a teammate and just tell them how nervous I was, and hold their hand for a second and have really good eye contact. And then once you get in the game, it, ‘Ok, how am I going to continue to calm myself down and remind myself of what I’m capable of.’ So that’s been huge for me just as my career has gone on, and I’ve had multiple ups and down, to just remind myself that I have greatness inside of me. Maybe it’s not always showing the way that want it, but it’s there.”
