Job Description
The Administrative Assistant, Safe Sport is a temporary, full-time, one-year position reporting to the Director, Safe Sport. This role oversees the organization and preservation of historical records, ensuring case documentation and archival materials are accurately maintained and readily accessible. Additional responsibilities include managing chain-of-custody notifications, updating eligibility status in the member management system, and processing notices of case closures.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Maintain, catalog, and update historical data files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the Safe Sport archive.
• Construct and organize case spreadsheets and related records as part of archive protocols.
• Manage chain-of-custody notifications and documentation in accordance with Safe Sport procedures.
• Update eligibility status in the member management system and process notices of case closure in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete filing, documentation, and information-sorting tasks to support case management operations.
• Monitor the Safe Sport email inbox, triaging and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
• Answer incoming calls from the National Office call line and route them to the relevant Safe Sport staff member.
• Provide additional administrative support to Safe Sport staff as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Experience with data analysis and running pivot tables is preferred.
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete Safe Sport training within two weeks of hire date. Training must be maintained throughout employment.
Salary: $20.00-$22.00/Hourly

Job Description
The Girls Lead for the Beach National Team Development Program (BNTDP) is a regular full-time position, and this position involves leading essential activities, projects, and logistics for Beach Youth and Junior National Team Programs, aligning with the NTDP’s mission to identify, recruit, and develop high-potential youth volleyball players.
The position requires extended hours and extensive travel, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with both domestic and international trips. Work often takes place on the beach in varied weather conditions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a growth mindset, ability to handle multiple competing demands, and flexibility to accommodate a rigorous travel schedule.

This position is located in Torrance, California. The successful applicant must be prepared for non-traditional work hours and challenging outdoor conditions.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Model and uphold a culture of respect, psychological safety, and athlete-centered care in all interactions with athletes, coaching staff, and medical team members, recognizing that the foundation of elite performance is built on trust.
- Serve as the Team Leader for BNTDP International and/or Domestic events.
- Lead the implementation of the Beach Youth and Junior National Team Programs.
- Support the evaluation and continuous improvement of departmental processes, including program logistics, registration, and internal tracking and coordination (commonly managed via tools such as Smartsheet), to maximize effectiveness.
- Coordinate assigned regional, national, and international BNTDP events and competitions.
- Develop individualized athlete development plans following each program, incorporating coaches’ post-program evaluation feedback, then submit them through the development pathway.
- Responsible for leading key activities, projects, logistics, and support for the BNTDP.
- Lead aspects of the Beach Collegiate National Team Training Block and Competition.
- Head the planning, organization, and scheduling of events and training sessions—coordinating with organizers, select independent contractors (ICs),—while utilizing Smartsheet to track progress on each task.
- Provide support for the Beach Accelerator Program, as needed.
- Act as primary contact for female junior athletes and their parents.
- Collect and disseminate event results and feedback.
- Facilitate the Girls’ NTDP depth chart by inputting athlete evaluation data from VolleyballLife after each qualifier and scouted event, cross-referencing with the Scouting Network to generate invitation lists and keep rankings current each cycle.
- Administer event registration and field program inquiries for the Beach NTDP.
- Support equipment inventory, packing, shipping, and gear and equipment ordering.
- Contribute to the development and execution of department-wide marketing and social media strategies.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in sports program management, volleyball preferred.
- Experience leading national-level sports programs.
- Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for minor athletes at domestic and international events, including travel, which may require extended hours, overnight stays, and shared accountability for athlete safety and welfare.
- Proficiency with inventory software and database systems.
- Knowledge of beach and indoor volleyball.
- Knowledge of USA Volleyball structures and operations is highly desirable.
- Experience working with youth and collegiate athletes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree (sports management, physical education, exercise science, or related field preferred.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

The Coordinator, Beach NTDP is a regular full-time position reporting to the Lead, BNTDP. The BNTDP Coordinator plays a vital dual role in supporting both the Beach National Team Development Program (BNTDP) and Beach National Team operations. This position coordinates essential youth development activities while managing critical logistical operations, including office administration, equipment management, and event support.

• Serve as the primary contact for BNTDP athletes, families, coaches, and key USA Volleyball stakeholders.

• Coordinate communication and organization with the Marketing team; develop press briefs and releases for BNTDP programs and Beach National Teams; and contribute to department-wide marketing and social media strategy development and execution.

Qualifications
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in event management.
• Demonstrated prociency with inventory software and database systems.
• Be able to safely and comfortably lift, transfer and store up to 50 pounds.

The HR Generalist is a regular full-time position reporting to the Manager, Human Resources. This role provides day-to-day HR support for USA Volleyball’s growing workforce across multiple locations, including California, Colorado, Oklahoma, and other remote locations. The HR Generalist supports talent acquisition, onboarding, culture initiatives, and organizational development while performing a broad range of HR generalist responsibilities.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
• Partners with hiring managers and departments to coordinate inclusive and compliant recruitment, candidate selection, and hiring processes.
• Reviews applications, conducts initial video interviews, coordinates representative panel interviews, and recommends qualified candidates for further consideration.
• Manages candidate communications, offer documentation, background screenings, and other pre-employment requirements.

• Supports DEI initiatives by reviewing practices, identifying improvement opportunities, assisting with action plans, and analyzing workforce and employee-experience data.

Qualifications
