The Path to a National ChampionshipWhether you play on the beach or indoor, standing or sitting, there are opportunities across the country to test your skills against others. The USA Volleyball Championship Series, comprised of our core indoor championship events (USA Volleyball Girls Junior, Girls 18s Junior, Boys Junior and Open National Championships), are the most competitive volleyball events in the country with top teams undergoing qualification to earn coveted bids on an annual basis. If your team is setting its sights on local and regional play, there are opportunities all over the country to compete in USA Volleyball-sanctioned events. We offer competitions for ages 11-80+.
Competitive junior club volleyball throughout the U.S. typically takes place from mid-November to the beginning of July, culminating in the USA Volleyball Girls and Boys Junior National Championships. Teams that wish to compete in a national championship can play in junior national qualifiers or local tournaments administered regionally, including the opportunity to compete in leagues, stand-alone tournaments and regional championships.
For teams who don't earn a bid to a national championship, play typically concludes around the end of April. Tryouts across the country are usually hosted between July and October for the upcoming club volleyball season. On the beach, competition in the USA Volleyball Beach Tour and the opportunity to earn a national bid begins in September and culminates at the end of July at the USA Volleyball Beach National Championship. If your dream is to play against the best volleyball teams in the country in the hopes of hoisting a National Championship trophy, USA Volleyball is where the best of the best come to compete, where the nation's top collegiate coaches come to recruit, and where the path to the Olympics and Paralympics begins.

Boys volleyball is on the rise across the country. More colleges are adding men’s volleyball programs, more states are adding boys volleyball at the high school level, and more clubs are building boys teams. Find a team and join the competition.
