Ft. Lauderdale International (FLL): Six miles from venue; 15-30 minute drive depending on traffic
Miami International (MIA): 32 miles from venue; 45-90 minute drive* depending on traffic (*toll fees may apply depending on the route)

Participants, coaches and staff must be current members for both USAV and AVP. Athletes over 18 must complete SafeSport training. Coaches and staff must also compete SafeSport training and pass a background screen.
Seeding will be done through the USAVP Unified Ranking System.
Club Teams*: Boys and girls 12U, 14U, 16, and 18U
Participants can register as part of a club, or as unaffiliated. Note that both athletes of a team must be from the same club. Athletes from two separate clubs must register as “UNAFFILIATED.”
Don’t have a club? Register as “UNAFFILIATED” and you can still participate in the tournament, but will be ineligible for Club prizes.
International teams* are also welcome to participate but must complete the USAV international ream paperwork and be an AVP member. International teams wishing to participate must contact [email protected]. For this event, international teams must register as “UNAFFILIATED” and are ineligible for club prizes.
Please note that international athletes are required to pay the additional insurance fee charge based on how many International players are on the team (1 or 2).
*Athletes/teams from Puerto Rico are considered international due to having a separate Olympic Federation from the United State Olympic & Paralympic Committee.
•12 and Under Division – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
•14 and Under Division – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
•16 and Under Division – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005
•18 and Under Division – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2003, OR Players who were born on or after July 1, 2002 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the 2021-22 academic year. If graduated, they are still permitted to compete in the USAV Beach Club National Championship.

All games will be match play, to the best of our abilities, but please note that tournament staff reserves the right to amend the tournament schedule based on weather delays, number of participants, court availability, etc.
July 29-31, 2022: Boys and girls 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U – all divisions play on all three days. Seeding will be done through the USAVP Unified Ranking System.

Playoff bracket matches begin at 8 a.m.
All teams will compete in bracket playoffs. The estimated start times for the finals is between 12-4 p.m. EDT, depending on division size.
Please be mindful of traffic and travel times to airports when planning your departure.

After the deadline, no “late” or walk-up registrations will be accepted, including coaches.
No refunds after July 25, 2022. All refunds issued before July 25 are subject to a $20 admin and credit card processing fee.

1st place: 16 points
2nd place: 12 points
3rd place: 8 points
4th place: 6 points
5th place: 4 points
9th place: 2 points
Division Win Bonus Points (1st place for boys and girls)
12U: 5 points
14U: 10 points
16U: 15 points
18U: 20 points
Individual teams will receive a medal and prize for placing 1st-3rd in their age division. Clubs can earn Age Division Champion award(s) based on how each of their teams finish in each age group. The Club Cup will be awarded to the overall winning club for boys and girls, with their top two finishing teams earning points for consideration, across each age group.
Clubs nominate players for each of the special recognitions listed below, but a club cannot nominate their own players. Recognitions will be awarded to both boys and girls. Submit nominations to the tournament desk during the first two days of the tournament.

Tournament Committee will make the final decision. Tournament Committee consists of the following:

Uniforms are not required but are encouraged. All athletes are REQUIRED to wear a top, for girls it must cover your midsection when standing, and bottoms such as spandex, shorts or leggings. No bikinis will be permitted for any team. For boys it must be a tank top or t-shirt that covers the midsection when standing, and bottoms such as board shorts, athletic shorts. No brief type swim trunks.
