A fantastic weekend came to a close Sunday with seven new champions crowned at the 2025 USA Volleyball Girls 18s National Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Due to the inclement weather across the country causing travel delays, Friday’s matches will be pushed back one hour and will begin at 9AM MT Friday, April 25. Wave 2/PM Wave will be pushed back 30 minutes and will begin at 3:30PM MT Friday, April 25.

Q: Where can I find the schedule?
A: It will be posted at the beginning of the week of play on AES.
Q: What is the tiebreaker procedure?
A: Please see the tiebreaking procedure flow chart (PDF).
Q: Are the matches livestreamed?
A: We’re excited to announce BallerTV will be livestreaming the Girls Junior National Championship (18s)! The event livestream kicks off Friday April 25.
Can’t attend the event in person? With BallerTV, you can watch the Girls Junior National Championship (18s) games live, create and edit clips, and get access to the game downloads.
Q: Will there be balls and carts available for rental?
A: Yes, Coaches/Rostered staff will be able to checkout volleyballs and carts on a first come first serve basis at the equipment tent.
Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: Yes – Practice time is available Thursday April 24 from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. on a first come first serve basis.
Q: What is the last-day forfeit policy?
A: Any forfeits during the last/final day of play will result in the following penalties:
- A forfeiture penalty in which the dollar amount shall be determined by the tournament director.
- Team(s) will be required to ref/work the following match
- Failure to provide a full work team will result in an additional fine in which the dollar amount shall cover officiating fees of the match.
- Refer to the 2025 Girls Championship Manual for further details.
Q: What is the entrance policy?
A: Spectator QR codes for parents & spectators will go on sale April 11th, 2025. Coaches & Rostered Staff- will receive an email with how to redeem their free QR Code the day before the event starts. Rostered Staff includes anyone listed on the Officials Roster. Players- will not need or receive QR code/wristband, they will enter through Athlete Entrance.
Q: What is the concession and seating policy?
A: No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center.
All spectators are required to purchase a Spectator QR Code for entry into the 2025 Girls 18s Junior National Championship. USAV is using an electronic system. The QR Code and photo identification will be required for each entry and re-entry into the facility.
QR Codes will go on-sale Friday, April 11, 2025.
Registration is NOW Re-opening for the Girls 18 Junior National Championship opens Wednesday December 11th at 12 PM MST/2 PM EST.
* Teams will not be able to Pay for GJNC 18s until they have been put into OK TO PAY status. Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division they will be placed in an “OK to PAY” Status.
Acceptance will first be given to teams who have completed all requirements. A team’s registration time stamp will be used once a division fills up and moves to a waitlist status.
ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Register for the event in AES
2. Pay registration fee, either by check or credit card
3. Submitted rosters are required in order to be fully accepted. Edits can still be made to the roster after acceptance.
4. Complete housing through Team Travel Source (More information below)

**Wave assignments are always subject to change due to team numbers and court availability.
Entry Fees
- 18 Open, National, USA, Liberty, American, Freedom – $900
- 18 Patriot – $800
Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division, they will be placed in an “OK to Pay” status. Only then will they be prompted for payment. Check or credit card is accepted.
Due to the recent changes in fees imposed by credit card merchants, all credit card payments will incur a $25 non-refundable convenience fee. There are no convenience fees for paying by check.

Refund Policy
A team that is denied entry to the National Championship by the USAV Events Department shall receive a full refund of their entry fee.
• There will be NO REFUNDS if a team removes itself from the event after the registration deadline, which will be outlined in the acceptance email sent to the individual team.
All action photos taken at this tournament will soon expire. Go to http://www.texstarphoto.com and click on the appropriate tournament to view and place your order. Even if you didn’t request photos, someone on your team may have requested photos. You can find your team photos by clicking on your Division (age group) and then scrolling to your team name.

General Information
- The Patriot Division is the only Pay to Play Division at the Girls 18s National Championship.
- Registration for the Patriot Division will open at the following time through the official event registration system, Advanced Event Systems (AES): 2:00pm EST on December 11, 2024.
There will 64 maximum number of teams that will be accepted in the Patriot Division.
- The first 64 teams to register, based on date and time of entry in AES, will be notified through email that they have been tentatively accepted into this division. In the email, these teams will be given a specific deadline by which their Official Entry Form and entry fee must be received at the USA Volleyball National Office AND their housing must be booked through Team Travel Source, in order to be officially accepted.
- PLEASE DO NOT mail Official Entry Forms and fees to the USA Volleyball office UNTIL you have received notification of acceptance into the Patriot division from USA Volleyball Events Staff.
- If teams fail to complete all entry requirements by the given deadline, they will automatically be moved to the bottom of the wait list.
- All teams must book their housing through Team Travel Source in the Patriot Block and abide by the Stay & Play Policy.
- Teams that are not accepted as the top (TBD) teams, will be placed on a waitlist based on their date and time of entry in AES. This waitlist will be posted on the USA Volleyball website.
- If a team receives a Patriot bid and then later qualifies for a higher division, their entry materials will be transferred to their new division. That team’s Patriot bid will be awarded to the next team in line on the wait list (barring any team whose club has already met their team limit).
- Patriot Refund Deadline Date: March 28th, 2025
*Please note: The Patriot division will be limited to 2 teams per club. If the division does not fill, we will then consider increasing this limit.

The USAV Events Department, with the assistance of its Seeding Committee, awards some GJNC Open, USA and Liberty Bids as At-Large Bids. Teams must formally apply to be considered for an At-Large Bid provided that the Team:
• Has played in at least one NQ in the same GJNC division and age group for which the Team is applying (Open, USA or Liberty)
• Teams must have at least one finish in the top 50% of an event in the division they want to be considered for
• Is registered for 18 GJNCs in the 18 GJNCs Event registration system
• Submits accurate and up-to-date electronic results in the GJNCs Event registration system (AES) no later than the end of business on the Tuesday after the finish of the last NQ offering their age group. ALL TEAM RESULTS NEED TO BE ENTERED.
• Complies with both their Region’s and USAV’s GJNCs deadline dates and meets the requirements.
The USAV Events Department will announce the Teams being awarded the 18s GJNCs At-Large Bids no later than the second Tuesday after the last NQ. The Events Department will notify Teams awarded an At-Large Bid by email, sent to the Coach and Club Director at the email addresses provided in the 18s GJNCs Event registration system.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 23, 2025) — USA Volleyball is proud to announce that the 2026 Girls 18s National Championship will take place in Reno, Nevada, from May 1-3, 2026, for what will be another celebration of elite junior volleyball.
