Try Volleyball for FreeAfter a successful launch in 2024, USA Volleyball’s Try Volleyball has concluded another great year in 2025! Clinic registration is closed but will reopen in 2026.

Try Volleyball is a national program designed to introduce kids to the sport at the local level.

Participants receive an engaging and informative introduction to volleyball while also connecting with their local community volleyball organization—all at no cost. Our focus is on fun and accessibility, with the goal of encouraging more kids to play volleyball

Calling all USAV clubs! Are you interested in organizing a local Try Volleyball Clinic in 2026 and unlock exciting benefits? As a clinic host, you’ll gain access to a range of valuable resources and support – all for free. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Central Participant Registration: Our team will handle participant sign-ups, streamlining the process for you.
  • National and Local Marketing Solutions: Leverage our marketing expertise to effectively promote your clinic within your community.
  • Clinic Programming Assistance: We’ll guide you through the clinic setup and programming, ensuring a successful event.

Before You Register to Host
Please ensure you have the the following information before registering to host:

  1. Dates secured
  2. Facility secured (name of facility and full address)
  3. Times secured (we recommend 1-1.5 hours but will allow clinic times up to three hours

How to Get Started

  1. Apply: Register to host a Try Volleyball Clinic by filling out the form below.
  2. Approval and Toolkit: Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a free Host Toolkit containing essential materials for hosting the clinic.
  3. Spread the Word: Promote your event within your community and encourage participants to register.
  4. Clinic Management: Staff and administer your Try Volleyball Clinic with confidence. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

What Is Try Volleyball?

  • Free Clinics: Try Volleyball Clinics are free events held in local communities. These clinics provide a safe and fun environment for kids to be active and discover the sport of volleyball.
  • For Grades 1-8: Try Volleyball is open to all children in 1st through 8th grade who are eager to experience volleyball for the first time.
  • Fundamental Skills: It’s the first step to learning fundamental volleyball skills and developing a lasting love for the game.

Participant Requirements
To participate in the clinics, you must:

  • Be in 1st to 8th grade.
  • Register online before attending the clinic.
