COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 25, 2024) – The 2024 USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championship moves into the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas on June 26-29, showcasing some of the best boys volleyball teams and clubs in the country.
The boys take over after the Girls Junior National Championship 11-13s, which were held in Dallas on June 21-24.
More than 250 boys teams with athletes ages 12-18 are registered bringing more than 4,000 athletes, coaches, family and friends to Dallas.
Teams will compete in the Open, Club, USA and American divisions. The biggest divisions are 18 open and 18 USA with 38 teams each.
Texas-area clubs that will compete include Austin Junior Attack, Dallas Premier, Dallas Starlings, Houston Volleyball Academy, Texas Legacy and West Texas Power.
Tournament festivities kicked off on Wednesday (June 25) with an NTDP Experience for Open level athletes who were nominated by their club or region. Event coaches included four-time Olympian and gold medalist Reid Priddy and Boys U19 National Team Head Coach Charlie Sullivan.
There will be three theme days during the event: Crazy Socks Day (June 26), Tie-Dye Day (June 27) and Red, White and Blue Day (June 28).
