Event Information
Q: When should I book travel on the final day of play?
A: The last match on the final day of play is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. However:

A: The final schedule will be posted at the beginning of the week of play
Q: What are the entry times
- AM Waves – Doors will open at 7 a.m. Once you have completed your work assignments and matches for the day please leave the facility.
- PM Waves – Door will open at 2:30 p.m., to allow AM waves to leave after their scheduled 1 p.m. game.
Q: What is the tiebreaker procedure?
A: Please see the tiebreaking procedure flow chart (PDF).
Q: What is the last-day forfeit policy?
A: Any forfeits during the last/final day of play will result in the following penalties:
- A forfeiture penalty in which the dollar amount shall be determined by the tournament director.
- Team(s) will be required to ref/work the following match
- Failure to provide a full work team will result in an additional fine in which the dollar amount shall cover officiating fees of the match.

Q: What is the ticketing policy?
A: Tickets for parents & spectators will go on sale in December. Coaches & Rostered Staff- will receive an email with how to redeem their free QR Code the day before the event starts. Rostered Staff includes anyone listed on the Officials Roster. Players- will not need or receive QR code/wristband/bag tag. They will enter through the Athlete Entrance.
Q: Are the matches livestreamed?
A: Leave the cameras and tripods at home and enjoy the action – live! We have partnered with BallerTV to provide professional live streaming for this event. They have the necessary liability insurance and expertise to set up video equipment to protect athletes and fans. Any other live streaming, including the use of Facebook Live, is strictly prohibited.
Q: What is the concession and seating policy?
A: No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center. The Anaheim Convention Center will be selling food in the venue and have made an effort to provide a good variety of options.
Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: There will not be any practice times available at the convention center.
Q: Balls and Carts
A: USA Volleyball will not be providing warm-up balls or carts for rent.

Reminder: Due to the fees imposed by credit card merchants, all credit card payments will incur a $25 nonrefundable convenience fee. There are no convenience fees for paying by check.

Registration for Weekend Two of the 2027 Girls West Coast Qualifier will open on September 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. ET.

- Registration Status:
- Pending: Upon registering your team in AES, your status will initially be “Pending.” No further action is required from you at this stage. USAV will review the time stamp of your registration and place you in one of two categories: OK to Pay or Waitlist (See Below). Please note that this status does not guarantee acceptance, and we advise against booking travel at this time.
- Ok to Pay: This status indicates tentative acceptance. To secure your spot, you must submit payment as soon as possible. Please note that this status does not guarantee acceptance, and we advise against booking travel at this time.
- Waitlist: If the division you entered fills up before your registration is complete, your status will be changed to “Waitlist.” You can email [email protected] to check your waitlist position or to inquire about moving to another division. Do not submit payment unless your status is updated to “Ok to Pay.” Please note that this status does not guarantee acceptance, and we advise against booking travel at this time.
- Accepted: Once payment is received, your status will be updated to “Accepted.” This is the only status that confirms full acceptance into the event, and you may then proceed to book your travel arrangements.
The 2027 Girls West Coast Qualifier is not a Stay and Play event, however; Team Travel Source has a housing block to assist with team rooms. For more housing information, please visit see Team Travel Source information below.
