COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 28, 2026) – USA Volleyball (USAV) and American Sport Education (ASE) today announced a strategic partnership to modernize and expand educational programming and leadership development across the volleyball ecosystem. Through this partnership, USA Volleyball members will have free access to enhanced digital learning tools, continuing education, and leadership resources designed for coaches, club directors and regional administrators across the U.S.

The partnership combines USA Volleyball’s national leadership as the sport’s governing body with ASE’s educational expertise and digital learning infrastructure to support coaches, club directors and regional leaders at every stage.

Under the agreement, ASE will serve as USA Volleyball’s strategic education partner, providing coach development clinics and observation opportunities, curriculum management, endorsed coaching training resources, and additional educational programming for club directors, sports leaders, team captains, lead officials and event directors. Together, USAV and ASE will establish a long-term educational strategy designed to elevate coaching excellence, embed athlete-centered development at every level, strengthen regional leadership and expand professional growth opportunities across the USA Volleyball ecosystem.

The initiative aligns with nationally recognized industry principles and standards, including the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee’s (USOPC) American Development Model (ADM), United States Center for Coaching Excellence, Society of Health & Physical Education, U.S. Center for SafeSport principles, athlete-centered coaching methodologies, long-term athlete development, and modern leadership practices.

“Together, USA Volleyball and American Sport Education are establishing the foundation for one of the most comprehensive coach and leadership development ecosystems in sport,” said Corey Warner, co-rounder and board chair of American Sport Institute and American Sport Education. “This partnership represents a shared investment in the future of volleyball. By combining USA Volleyball’s vision for the sport with ASE’s educational expertise and technology infrastructure, we have an opportunity to strengthen coaches, leaders, regions, clubs, and members while creating lasting value for the entire volleyball community.”

“Education and leadership development are at the foundation of everything we build at USA Volleyball, from grassroots youth programs to our Olympic and Paralympic podiums,” said John Speraw, president and CEO of USA Volleyball. “Partnering with American Sport Education allows us to modernize our digital learning platform and deliver world-class tools directly to our coaches, club directors, and regional leaders. By investing in those who teach and guide our young athletes at every level, we ensure a safe, supportive, and athlete-centered environment as we continue to advance USA Volleyball’s mission and build toward the 2027 Women’s Volleyball World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.”
