Job Description
The Director, Boys Development, is a regular full-time position. This position will oversee the development, administration, and growth of the boys junior volleyball programs within the Southern California Southern Nevada (SCSN) Region. The role will guide clubs and teams through registration, membership, tournaments, and coach development in alignment with USA Volleyball and SCSN policies. The incumbent will foster a high-quality, inclusive volleyball environment that adheres to SafeSport and other regulatory standards. Cross departmental support is expected of all positions. Moderate domestic travel is expected. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is located in Irvine, California.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Design and implement the strategy for boys junior indoor volleyball programs in the region, including age-group programs, clinics, tryouts, and team placements.
• Collaborate with club directors, coaches, officials, and the SCSN office to align program goals with regional and national standards.
• Oversee program operations for boys regional tournaments and events.
• Provide resources and support for clubs to achieve SCSN sanctioning, registration, and membership compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for clubs and players for boys programming – provide guidance, solve issues, and communicate region policies.
• Plan and manage program budgets, equipment inventory, and facility usage.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, athlete-centered culture aligned with USA Volleyball’s mission and SCSN’s “One Volleyball. One Community.” motto.
• Ensure all program elements adhere to SafeSport, MAAPP (Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy), USAV member protections, and regional bylaws.
• Monitor program growth, athlete retention, and competitive success (e.g., performance at regional qualifiers) and recommend strategic enhancements.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in sports administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Must have proven experience coaching or directing youth volleyball programs, with a focus on boys athletics.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, coaching techniques, and athlete development principles.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing staff and/or coaches.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for practices, games, and events.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all athletes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the region as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete Safe Sport training within two weeks of hire date. Training must be maintained throughout employment.
Salary: $115,000-$125,000

Job Description
The Manager, Sitting Programs is a regular full-time position reporting to the Director, Sitting Programs. This position is responsible for managing the operations of the Sitting Program, as well as the development of grassroots programming. Provide assistance for national team training camps and oversee all domestic competition events. Moderate domestic travel is expected. Cross departmental support is expected of all positions. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Working with the Program Director and coaching staff, determine yearly and camp specific schedules for the Sitting National Team Development Program (SNTDP), Men’s Sitting National Team (MSNT), & Women’s Sitting National Team (WSNT) and coordinate with responsible
parties between University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), USA Volleyball (USAV), the United States Olympic Paralympic Committee (USOPC), or other supporting organizations.
• Manage the collection and dissemination of data needed for the completion of USAV membership forms, USOPC forms, SafeSport information, VA forms, or other necessary forms.
• Maintain oversight of assigned budgets to include but not limited to catering and housing.
• Provide the Marketing, Communications and Creative (MCC) department with updates to athlete profiles, yearly match counts, match results, and other statistics to update the USAV website (Sitting Volleyball).
• Oversee daily operations of leased apartments, including monitoring regular cleaning services.
• Collaborate with chef and coaches to schedule mealtimes in alignment with athlete training schedules.
• Coordinate with UCO and other organizations for housing maintenance issues.
• Process Direct Athlete Support and other financial collection and software input.
• In consultation with the MCC department, determine methods to market and promote the Sitting Program.
• Serve as the primary recruiter to identify new athletes with physical disabilities to begin training in sitting volleyball for future national team consideration.
• Support all national team camps and oversee all domestic competition events by coordinating team travel logistics, arranging for facility space and equipment necessary, securing officials and ICs to administer events, and work with MCC to develop marketing material to promote spectator attendance.
• Serve as the primary contact for outside organizations hosting sitting volleyball events by providing guidance for equipment purchase or modifications, event format and scheduling, and assistance in identifying partners or other resources for the event’s enhancement.
• Oversee distribution and storage of equipment & supplies located at Oklahoma facility.
• Other duties and projects assigned.

• Master’s Degree, Business, Sport Administration
• Experience working with sitting volleyball programs
• Experience supporting disabled sport programs
• Experience working with the USOC, NGB or other sport organization is a plus
Salary: $60- $65K

Job Description
The Assistant Coach, Men’s Sitting National Team (MSNT) is a regular full-time position responsible for leading the daily training, development and administration of the MSNT resident training program, and non-resident program. This position provides daily performance feedback and manages program operations. This position operates under the direct supervision of the MSNT head coach and is expected to execute the resident program in alignment with the head coach’s strategic plan, technical vision and athlete development framework. Extensive domestic and international travel is expected for competitions, training camps, and talent scouting.
Cross departmental support is expected of all positions. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
Athlete Development & Training
o Lead the daily training and long-term development of MSNT resident athletes.
o Collaborate with the head coach to co-create remote training plans for non-resident athletes and deliver virtual feedback.
o Implement periodized training plans and lead technical instruction during resident practices.
o Deliver video-based, data-informed feedback to drive technical improvement.
o Coordinate with strength and conditioning and medical teams to ensure athlete health and workload balance.
o Ensure training plans and development goals reflect the direction per MSNT head coach.
Program Management & Operations
o Assist with athlete recruitment, evaluation, and selection for the MSNT program.
o Operate the resident program under the guidance and leadership of the MSNT head coach, ensuring that all systems align with team standards and objectives.
o Maintain consistent, professional communication with the head coach and implement directives in a timely and respectful manner.
o Prepare and submit regular performance and status reports for the head coach’s review.
o Support management of athlete stipends, resident housing, and administrative needs.
o Coordinate logistics for domestic and international competitions, camps, clinics, and travel.
o Help enforce athlete handbook standards and contribute to policy development.
Performance Analysis & Innovation
o Assist in performance and match analysis using statistical and video tools.
o Contribute to the scouting of opponents and preparation of match plans.
o Translate athlete performance data into customized improvement plans and practice interventions.
o Collaborate with the performance analyst to align daily work with broader team performance objectives.
Team Support & Administration
o Contribute to the development of the MSNT’s annual competition, training and travel calendar.
o Coordinate with consultants, support staff, and external specialists to maintain a high-performance environment.
o Support media and public-facing elements of the program through data, tracking and athlete storytelling.
o Assist with long-term strategic planning initiatives and preparation for Paralympic qualification cycles.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in sports administration, coaching, exercise science, education, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of elite-level coaching experience at the junior, collegiate, national or international level.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering high-performance training programs.
• Familiarity with volleyball video and statistical analysis platforms (e.g., DataVolley, VolleyMetrics, Hudl).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-performance environment.
• Self-motivated, driven, and self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
• Must successfully pass a USAV background screen (prior to hire date).
• Must complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and keep current as a condition of continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in sports administration, coaching, physiology, exercise science, education.
• Experience working with volleyball athletes and/or sitting volleyball athletes.
• Prior experience with adaptive or Paralympic athletes.

Job Description
The Controller is regular full time position reporting to the CFO. The position is responsible for the accounting and record keeping of USA Volleyball and its subsidiaries. The position plans and directs all accounting operational functions, manages the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, analyzes accounting and internal control systems, and guides departmental staff. Cross-departmental collaboration is expected of all USAV employees. The position requires extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimal travel is required.
The position may work in a hybrid capacity from the Colorado Springs, CO or Irvine, CA location. This position is ineligible for a remote work arrangement.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Supervise assigned staff which may include a combination of the following: two finance department staff, one payroll manager, and two hourly operations staff
• Maintain thorough advanced proficiency of all financial related software
• Perform financial software updates, modifications and recommended changes as needed.
• Manage organization accounting procedures for all functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Analyze and ensure accuracy of all financial reports
• Prepare organization, departments (125) and subsidiary (2) monthly financial reports in a timely manner
• Manage the production and evaluation of annual budget and forecasts
• Compile data requests and assist Senior Management in any matters upon request
• Optimize relationships with financial institutions and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position
• Responsible for cash flow projection process and reporting
• Manage bank accounts, oversee banking processes including deposits and withdrawals, and perform reconciliations
• Prepare the annual independent audit; provide fullest cooperation during the audit and in any follow-up actions required; liaison with the auditors to ensure that USAV financial activities are conducted in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and within applicable federal, state and local regulations and tax laws
• Provide 990 information to external accountants
• Work with staff members in identifying professional development opportunities and complete performance reviews
• Conduct at least one informal performance review discussion during the course of the year and an end of year formal performance review
• Travel to Audit Finance and Budget Annual meetings to support presentation of corporate budget

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent work experience
• CPA is preferred
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or other related field
• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills
• Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues
• Ability to lead department staff to ensure organizational goals are met
• Working experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or Limelight a plus
• Must successfully pass a USAV background screen (prior to hire date)
• Must complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and keep current as a condition of continued employment
• Demonstrated leadership experience at the USOC/NGB/Region is a plus
• Business leadership experience in the sport of volleyball is a plus
Salary:
• Colorado Springs Location: $85,000 – $95,000
• Irvine Office Location: $95,000 – $105,000
