Women's National Team Assistant Coach
Brandon Taliaferro was named a U.S. Women’s National Team assistant coach in 2025.
A UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame inductee and two-time NCAA national champion as a setter, Brandon brings a deep understanding of elite-level play and coaching.
As an assistant coach with the UCLA men’s volleyball team, he most recently helped guide the Bruins to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2023 and 2024. Internationally, he played a key role in leading the U.S. Men’s National Team to gold at the 2023 NORCECA Pan American Cup Final 6 as an assistant coach. He also co-founded the 949 Athletics Volleyball Club.
As a player, Brandon competed with the U.S. Men’s National Team from 2001-2003 and from 2006-2008, and he was an alternate for the 2008 Olympic Team.
With extensive experience in player development, he will be invaluable in shaping the future of the U.S. Women’s National Team.
