Men's National Team Assistant Coach

Mike Wall has worked with the U.S. Men’s National Team since 2013,  and he was part of the coaching contingent at both the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games

As part of the U.S. coaching staff, he helped the team to the gold at the 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup. He was also instrumental in the U.S. Men’s bronze-medal finish in Rio.

Wall has extensive experience as a collegiate coach, including stints with the UC San Diego men’s team (2003-04, assistant coach), St. Mary’s women’s team (2004, assistant coach), Utah women’s team (2005, assistant) and the Arizona State women’s team (2006-08, 2012).

He played college volleyball at BYU from 1999-2002 and was part of two national championship squads (1999 and 2001). He was a first-team All-American in 2001 and 2002, and he was named to the BYU Hall of Fame in 2016. While at BYU, he also played for the U.S. Men’s National Team from 2001-02. After college, he spent two years playing overseas in Switzerland and Puerto Rico.

Wall is also the owner of Gold Medal Squared Volleyball.
