Beach National Team
Performance Analyst

Tyler Widdison was named the performance analyst for the U.S. Beach National Team in 2019.

Previously, he was a technical coordinator for the beach national team from 2016-18, providing in-depth reports, video breakdown and montage videos of opponents using DataValley. He attended the 2016 Olympic Games and FIVB tournaments in this capacity to assist coaches, players and staff.

From 2017-19, he was an operations data analyst with Hudl. While there, he helped administer and operate the growth of elite volleyball within the organization. At VolleyMetrics from 2013-17 he oversaw analysis and quality control; VolleyMetrics is now part of Hudl.

Widdison played volleyball at Utah Valley University, graduating in 2012. In 2008, he was named second team all-tournament at NIRSA college DI championships as a six-foot middle. Between 2007-16, he coached various camps and clubs but has been focused solely on analysis since 20016.
