Event Information
Q: Will balls and carts be available?
A: USA Volleyball will have a limited number of balls and carts to rent on a first come first serve basis.
Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: 16s-17s Wave: Practice from 4-8pm in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on July 2nd.
14s-15s Wave: Practice from 4-8pm in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on July 7th.
Q: Where can I find the schedule?
A: It will be posted at the beginning of the week of play
Q: What are the entry times?
- AM Waves – Doors will open at 7AM. Once you have completed your work assignments and matches for the day please leave the facility.
- PM Waves – Door will open at 2:30 p.m., to allow AM waves to leave after their scheduled 1 p.m. game.
Q: What is the tiebreaker procedure?
A: Please see the tiebreaking procedure flow chart (PDF).
Q: What is the last-day forfeit policy?
A: Any forfeits during the last/final day of play will result in the following penalties:
- A forfeiture penalty in which the dollar amount shall be determined by the tournament director.
- Team(s) will be required to ref/work the following match
- Failure to provide a full work team will result in an additional fine in which the dollar amount shall cover officiating fees of the match.

Q: What is the ticketing policy?
A: Tickets for parents & spectators will go on sale June 19th. Coaches & Rostered Staff- will receive an email with how to redeem their free QR Code the day before the event starts. Rostered Staff includes anyone listed on the Officials Roster. Players- will not need or receive QR code/wristband/bag tag. They will enter through Athlete Entrance
Q: Are the matches livestreamed?
A: Leave the cameras and tripods at home and enjoy the action – live! We have partnered with BallerTV to provide professional live streaming for this event. They have the necessary liability insurance and expertise to set up video equipment to protect athletes and fans. Any other live streaming, including the use of Facebook Live, is strictly prohibited.

Q: What is the concession and seating policy?
A: No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center will be selling food in the venue and have made an effort to provide a good variety of options.
Q: What is the parking situation?
A: The Convention Center parking garage is located on the south end of the building and can be accessed via Las Vegas Boulevard or Russell Road. For more information click here: Parking at MGM Resorts – MGM Resorts

June 6 Update: Due to the number of teams participating in 16s & 17s Patriot divisions, we will now host 17 Patriot in the PM wave, and 16 Patriot will be both the AM & PM wave depending on seeding.

Action, team, award team, and all-tournament photos from the national tournament are now available online at the Texas Star website for viewing and purchase. They won’t be online for long, so now is the time to view, create or update your album, and make your purchase.
We photographed matches by request, but while we were focusing on certain requested players, we also followed the action so even if you didn’t request action photos, you may see some of your player. Under Division, click your age group, and scroll to your team name to see teams we photographed for action photos.
We photographed teams that came to our booth for regular, award team, and all-tournament photos. Under Division, click Teams, and on the next page under Teams, scroll to your team name or All Tournament photo.
Simply click on the appropriate tournament button. Then click LOGIN. If you already created an album at the tournament, click UPDATE YOUR ALBUM, select your album number, and click CONTINUE. Your album should have the same photos you added at the tournament. If you didn’t create an album at the tournament, select your own 5 digital number as your album number. If it is taken, just try a different number. Then click CONTINUE.
You can purchase all the same products that you could at the tournament – all in the same order. These include 5x7s, 8x10s, plaques (including 5×7 print), posters, and hi-res digital photos.
For digital photos, you will receive an email for downloading them in a day or two.
For all the other products you will receive these in the mail in as little as a few days up to 3-4 weeks depending on the products you purchased and your shipping address.

14s, 15s, 16s, 17s Patriot List & Waitlist
Patriot Division Update on May 9th, 2024: Due to unforeseen space restrictions, the Patriot division is being moved to 128 teams per each age division at the 2024 GJNC 14-17s. USAV will do its best to accommodate teams that have been tentatively accepted in an OK to Pay status; however, we cannot guarantee your acceptance if requirements have not yet been met. Once we work through teams in an OK to Pay status, we will continue offering spots to teams on the waitlist.
General Information
- The Patriot Division is the only Pay to Play Division at the Girls Junior National Championship.
- Registration for the Patriot Division will open at the below times through the official event registration system, Advanced Event Systems (AES):
- 14s – 17s: 12 p.m. EST on January 24, 2024
- The maximum number of teams that will be accepted in each Patriot Age Division will be as follows:
- 14, 15, 16 and 17 & Under Age Divisions: 128
- The first 128 teams (14-17 & under) to register, based on date and time of entry in AES, will be notified through email that they have been tentatively accepted into this division. In the email, these teams will be given a specific deadline by which their Official Entry Form and entry fee must be received at the USA Volleyball National Office AND their housing must be booked through Team Travel Source, in order to be officially accepted.
- PLEASE DO NOT mail Official Entry Forms and fees to the USA Volleyball office UNTIL you have received notification of acceptance into the Patriot division from USA Volleyball Events Staff.
- If teams fail to complete all entry requirements by the given deadline, they will automatically be moved to the bottom of the wait list.
- All teams must book their housing through Team Travel Source in the Patriot Block and abide by the Stay & Play Policy.
- Teams that are not accepted as the top 128 teams, will be placed on a waitlist based on their date and time of entry in AES. This waitlist will be posted on the USA Volleyball website.
- If a team receives a Patriot bid and then later qualifies for a higher division, their entry materials will be transferred to their new division. That team’s Patriot bid will be awarded to the next team in line on the wait list (barring any team whose club has already met their team limit).
- Patriot Refund Deadline: May 31, 2024
*Please note: The Patriot division will be limited to 2 teams per club, per age group in the 14 & Under through 17 & Under age groups. If the age groups are not filled, we will then consider increasing this limit.
Entry Fees
- 14-17 Open, National, USA, Liberty, American, Freedom – $1,000
- 14-17 Patriot – $900
Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division, they will be placed in an “OK to Pay” status. Only then will they be prompted for payment. Check or credit card is accepted.
Due to the recent changes in fees imposed by credit card merchants, all credit card payments will incur a $25 non-refundable convenience fee. There are no convenience fees for paying by check.
Refund Policy
A team that is denied entry to the National Championship by the USAV Events Department shall receive a full refund of their entry fee.
**Last Day to mail in Checks is 5/24/24.**
• There will be NO REFUNDS if a team removes itself from the event after the registration deadline, which will be outlined in the acceptance email sent to the individual team.
Housing
This is a Stay and Play event; all housing must be booked through Team Travel Source.
Patriot Housing will open Thursday, January 25
- If you are tentatively accepted with USAV for this event on January 24, Team Travel Source will email the Booking Link to the Club Contact registered on Thursday, January 25 at 12 p.m. EST
- If you are tentatively accepted with USAV after January 24 – Team Travel Source will email the Booking Link to the Club Contact registered, once we have notified Team Travel Source of your Patriot standing.
Patriot teams can only book at Patriot indicated properties. Properties will be marked as a Patriot hotel on the booking site. You can refer to Team Travel Source’s Housing Page for additional information
All spectators are required to purchase a Spectator QR Code for entry into the 2024 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship 14-17’s.
USAV is using an electronic system. The QR Code and photo identification will be required for each entry and re-entry into the facility.
QR Codes will go on-sale Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Coaches – Register through University Athlete. Please check in at Ticketing Help Desk onsite. Proof of registration required.
