COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Dec. 11, 2025) – USA Volleyball has selected athletes for two NTDP Girls Indoor Training Series taking place later this month in Kansas City, Missouri, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

For the second consecutive year, USA Volleyball will host a training series alongside the AVCA Convention and NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. Sixty-two athletes in the U19 and U20 age groups will participate in Kansas City from Dec. 18-21 at the Kansas City Convention Center. Athletes hail from 22 states and 23 USA Volleyball regions. Michigan State women’s volleyball head coach Kristen Kelsay will lead the training.

At the end of this month, 126 athletes from the U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups will train at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Dec. 27-30. Athletes represent 27 states and 26 regions. DePaul University head coach Marie Zidek leads the U15-U17 groups, and Cal head coach Jen Malcom leads U18.

Selections for the Winter Training Series were made through the Indoor NTDP Scouting Network, which identifies top athletes through recommendations from a nationwide network of coaches and experts. All NTDP training series are led by experienced indoor coaches from colleges and clubs and emphasize the program’s five pillars: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team.
