Beach Athletes Headed to 2024 NTDP Fall Training Series
More than 50 girls and boys athletes will be in Virginia Beach, Va., on Sept. 28-29 for the 2024 Beach National Team Development Program Fall Training Series.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (December 12, 2024) – Many of USA Volleyball’s rising stars will be training in Louisville, Kentucky, next week at the same time the city hosts the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship and the American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention.
For the first time, the National Team Development Program (NTDP) is splitting its age groups and location for Girls Indoor Winter Training Series. The U18-U20 athletes will train at the Kentucky International Convention Center, Dec. 19-22, and the U15-U17 age groups will train Dec. 27-30 at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The U15-U17 rosters will be released next week.
As part of the Louisville training, participating athletes will attend the semifinals of the NCAA Championship, allowing them to watch and learn from many of America’s best collegiate volleyball players.
Athletes for the Winter Training Series were identified and invited based on recommendations from the Indoor NTDP Scouting Network. The scouting network serves as the Indoor NTDP talent identification process and includes coaches and experts from across the United States.
All training series are conducted by top indoor NTDP coaches from colleges and clubs and feature a comprehensive focus on the five pillars of the NTDP: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team.
Texas A&M Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Jamie Morrison is the lead coach for the U18/U19 divisions, and Virginia Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Shannon Wells will lead U20.
The 85 athletes represent 22 different states and 21 USA Volleyball regions.
The USA Volleyball Regions represented are Aloha, Arizona, Carolina, Chesapeake, Florida, Gateway, Great Lakes, Great Plains, Heart of America, Hoosier, Lakeshore, Lone Star, North Country, Northern California, North Texas, Ohio Valley, Pioneer, Puget Sound, Rocky Mountain, Southern and Southern California.
