COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 5, 2025) – The U.S. women’s sitting NTDP team looked sharp Tuesday in Santiago, Chile, defeating Argentina 2-0 (25-6-25-7) in its first match at the 2025 Youth Parapan Games.
The U.S. (1-0) plays Brazil at 8 a.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 6. Brazil is also 1-0 after defeating Mexico earlier today.
The match showed the excellence of the U.S. sitting training program, as the team dominated Argentina in every aspect of the game.
“Today was the best moment for our youth national development team,” head coach Julie Allen said. “Competing in their first international match and representing the United States with joy, teamwork and composure was something we’ll remember. Argentina brought energy, and our athletes embraced the opportunity to learn, grow and celebrate this time together.”
