All 14 players hit the court during the win, including Alex Wilson, Robbie Gaupp, Will Curtis and Sam Surowiec.
“It was great that we could go to our bench and the guys could step up,” U.S. head coach Greg Walker said. “We’ve been talking about what it means to be reliable and dependable and to have that steady work. I thought the guys did a great job and had a good sense of humor when things happen and stay light
“The officiating was really good from the standpoint of they allowed the pursuit plays, and that got everybody excited. It shows [the fans] the athleticism and speed of our sport. Both teams really hustled after stuff and made some great plays. It was good for our guys to get extra reps before we have our match tomorrow and it gets a little tougher.”
