Facing the silver medalists from the Tokyo Games, the U.S. beach team of Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss stayed unbeaten in the Paris Olympics with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-16) victory over Mariafe Artacho Del Solar and Taliqua Clancy of Australia on Monday.
Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss, the No. 2 team ranked women’s beach team in the world, started strong and never looked back in a 2-0 (21-17, 21-14) over the team of Heather Bansley and Sophie Bukovec of Canada in their opening match in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
